There have been no further editions of The Bittern for a number of reasons. The Newsletter was a successor to the old Notes and News, which was sent to members. In those days we lacked the sophisticated website that we have now. The Bittern was an attempt to provide some continuity. Unfortunately as time passed copy for the Bittern dried up. The type of information in The Bittern can also be included on the website. The General Committee is reviewing the ways in which the Society communicates with members.

I used to love reading the Bittern newsletter, but sadly I have not seen a new one since mid 2018. Is it not being published anymore>?
