Would anyone be interested in the following enquiry I have received.
My grandfather lived in Somerset and kept a daily record of the weather and what he saw and where on his cycle rides and walks. He typed it all up on a typewriter and filed all his bird counts. He had a rain gauge for much of this time, in his garden in Chard. I have these field notes and they run from 1932 to 1997. He did numerous counts for/with the Ornithology Society and the RSPB so these have been recorded officially. But his personal accounts may be useful as a contemporary archive.
