Hi Chris My November 2022 Hawfinch was at ST 04501 27505, Today I spent 2 hours along the Challick Lane but no sign of it thereI
I also called at the Church at Chipstable where I saw a pair of Nuthatch but alas no Hawfinch.

I assume that is some way south of yours, and would be interested to hear where yours was, last year.

Hi Chris Photographed a Hawfinch in almost the same spot back in November of last year 2022.

Two hours this morning, ended with the miraculous appearance of a Hawfinch atop a beech, just for a few seconds before disappearing.

(First for Chipstable - 24 years; garden list to 94.)

Same spot as a Brambling, (with Chaffinch flock) on 27th October (none since).
