Heard from dusk until well after dark, yesterday evening (08/06/2019) in meadow land between Edington and Burtle.

After drawing a blank y’day evening from 20:00 to 21:00 listening for the single reported Quail, returned late morning, just after the heavy rain passed through, and heard 3 singing males on Butleigh Moor. Note: these large grass farm fields are strictly private, please listen from the single track dead-end road (Walton Drove) that goes due south across the moor and keep out of the way of any farm vehicles.
