At least 20 Hawfinches in and around Holy Trinity church yard Street Thursday morning
A friend in Clayhidon just over in the Devon border reported 2 in her old orchard this morning. Also saw about a dozen birds in flight which she did not recognise in poor light but heavy and undulating flight so could be these.
An incredible 18 Hawfinches in Holy Trinity church yard at 10:45am in flight together, with possibly another 3 more that separated from the group.
