      <title>Blue Anchor to Dunster Beach</title>

        <p>A total of 14 Yellow Wagtails (12 in one ploughed field) 4 White Wagtails and several Pieds. In excess of 500 Swallows,100+ House Martins and several Sand Martins. 13 Swifts. 8 Whimbrel,20+ Dunlin, 2 male Wigeon on Dunster Hawn and a 1st winter Mediterranean Gull were the highlight of this mornings walk.</p>

        <p>Access to the Carymoor Environmental Centre BA7 7NR is from the B3153 (Keinton Mandeville to Castle Cary Road). Take Dimmer Lane to the south and after about 800 metres turn right, as signposted. Pass through the gates to the Valencia waste site and take an immediate left turn. The Carymoor Environmental Centre is about 800 metres down this lane and there is a small car park. If this is full please park only on the left side of the road. Meet in the car park at 0945hrs on Saturday 25th April, for a 1000hrs start. Please could you let me know on  alison dot everett at somersetbirding dot org dot uk if you wish to attend this meeting , the gates will only be open for a time before and after the walk so it will be helpful to know who to expect beforehand.         <p>Walk at Dunster Beach on Saturday 7th March . Meet in the Dunster Beach Car Park at 09.00 ( charges apply) ST004446 TA24 6TH<br />
Access to Dunster Beach is from the A39 between Dunster and Minehead. Take the road signed Dunster Marsh/Dunster Beach and follow the signs to Dunster Beach. Please park in the pay and display car park.<br />
The walk is over relatively flat ground, but it is boggy and rough in places. The walk will take 2 to 3 hours. Dress warmly. The kiosk should be open at the finish for a cup of coffee/tea.</p>

<p>We should see a range of wildfowl, woodland birds, field birds, waders and sea birds.</p>
