AWT have asked us to post some information on the above subject. Details are as follows:

“We are currently recruiting for our Grow Leader Course. This course takes an in-depth approach to training the next generation of community conservation workers.

The course is for anyone interested in becoming a facilitator for engaging people in ecological land management, conservation and food growing. During the 12 sessions, they will learn the skills needed for developing community engagement, as well as a theoretical and practical knowledge of conservation and horticulture.

The teaching will take place at the beautiful Feed Bristol site, a 6 acre oasis of food growing, conservation and community work in the heart of Bristol. Spending time on site is a great way of experiencing the running of a successful food growing and conservation project first hand.
