Early morning WEBS Count at Torr Reservoir meant I was lucky to be in a position to see a Male Redstart, 1 Firecrest, 1 Wheatear, 1 Common Sandpiper and 250+ Hirundines on the move. There were many Chiffchaffs & Goldcrests, much more than usual. A few Meadow Pipits were the first of the Autumn at the Reservoir. 70+ Goldfinches, 20 Linnets, 160+ Mallards also seen. Water Levels are still very low with lots of exposed habitat for Waders.
