Three birds still in yews on boundary of Butleigh House on High Street, Butleigh. This morning showing very well viewed from the lane leading up to St Leonard’s church, seemingly not at all concerned by passing cars or pedestrians.

Only 2 Hawfinches in Holy Trinity Churchyard, and that after a 2 hour wait from 10:30, when they flew in at about 12:30.

On my way home from seeing the Street birds I found at least 3 birds in yews on High Street, Butleigh, close to the junction with Sub Road.

Still present, at least 5 (6?) but flighty, with mixed flock of mostly Greenfinches, some Chaffinches and Goldfinches. Being disturbed by the refurbishment of the cemetery boundary wall.

Yes that’s the one Geoff. Hopefully the building works won’t drive them off. They were on the ground near the road when we first saw them but moved into the large trees near the church where they were harder to see.

At lease 5 in Holy Trinity Churchyard this morning. Mobile and disturbed by work at the church.

Also large flock of Greenfinches and Chaffinches.
