Dr. Colin Ryall recently retired from university, where he lectured in ecology and the environment. He has travelled abroad extensively, working for eight years in Africa, and leading natural history field trips. His main research topic was invasive species and their effect on the local fauna and flora. In particular, Colin's studies on introduced species have inspired his interest on 'gardening for wildlife'. This, as you will realise links serendipitously with the subject of last month's talk.
