When a pair of tawny owls took over a sparrowhawk's nesting site,in a woodland copse situated on an island on the River Weaver, Dave Culley decided he would try and film them. What he managed to film was an amazing insight into the lives of these often heard, but rarely seen owls. Fantastic shots of tawny owl behaviour including hunting, courtship, mating, and egg laying can be seen through the course of a year. Narrated by Chris Packham.
Note: we are showing this film by kind permission of Dave Culley.
